Henna Workshop for Beginners
Instructor: Cara Archer from Cara Creative Body Art
What is Henna Art? An ancient artform! Using a special paste made from the henna plant, designs are drawn on the skin leaving an emerging stain, like a temporary tattoo, that usually lasts for 1-2 weeks.
What will I learn? During the 2 hour workshop Cara will delve into how henna is traditionally used, go over the basics of henna designs and then everyone will have some practice time, leaving you with your own unique piece of art on your skin to enjoy!
What is provided? Everything you need to participate is provided. Henna cones will be available to use for practice on the day. Tea/coffee, biscuits and spring water will be provided as well.
Along with this, a kit of organic henna powder, lavender oil, cellophane cones, glitter and instructions will be available for purchase on the day so you will be able to continue your practice at home if you choose. To pre-purchase your kit, simply choose the “plus take-home kit” ticket option when booking.
Is there a minimum age or other requirements to participate in the workshop? This workshop is ideally suited to people over the age of 14yo. There is no prior knowledge needed as this is a beginners workshop. Strictly limited places. Ideal for people interested in:
